Hunter Gifted & Talented Magnet Elementary School believes that every child has gifts and talents that need to be valued and nurtured. There are no tests, auditions, or performance standards for acceptance into our school.

Our program promotes choice for students and parents. Students can explore a wide variety of learning experiences through core and elective courses which develop individual strengths and interests.
Students who are academically gifted, who have learning disabilities, or who have other unique needs work with special teachers as part of their elective classes. The child, the teacher, and the parent work collaboratively to customize the student's educational program.
