The kindergarten classes are going to kick off our Hunter food drive initiative for the Backpack Buddies Program. As you may have read in the flyer that went home in this week's Monday folder, we have committed to filling 30 backpacks with food every Friday beginning in October . Interfaith Food Shuttle will provide food for an additional 10 students. This is going to require significant donations offood - more than 1,000 individual containers of food need to go in these backpacks each month!
I know this is a lot of food, but sadly, it is all needed.
Rather than continually asking parents for donations, we thought each grade could take responsibility for a month. If everyone does their part, in their month, our children will not go hungry on the weekends.
Kindergarten - October

The bins will be located at the front and back (by the bus loop) of the school.
