Read-A-Thon is our annual pledge-based fundraising event that encourages students to read outside the school environment. All students who participate receive a certificate and prizes are awarded for the classrooms and individual with the most reading time. Jan. 26 – Feb. 8, 2010. For more details, please contact Dare Johnston @ dare370@msn.com. Our annual Book Exchange will be on Jan. 21. Deb King is the Book Exchange Chair, you may contact her with questions @ debking@nc.rr.com. IMPORTANT PTA MEETING The next PTA meeting will be held on Jan. 5th at 9:30am in the cafeteria. This will be a VERY important meeting. We will be voting on re-structuring our Executive Board to be in compliance with NC-PTA. We will also be voting on how to spend the funds raised in our Fall Fundraiser and recently recovered funds. No money can be allocated or spent until voted on and approved by the PTA membership.
