Hunter Heritage The 2011 Hunter Heritage was held last Friday night. It was an outstanding success and a wonderful way to celebrate the winding down of our school year. A very special thank you to all of the Hunter Heritage committe members who put in so much time and effort on this event, and a special “Thank You” to Rachel Trunkey and Kim Von Weihe the Hunter Heritage Chairmen. Don’t Forget!Some important dates to remember: May 6th 8:45 am - Muffins for Moms (weather permitting) in the courtyard. May 9, 10, 11 - Brian Balmages visits Hunter! May 24th 9:00 am - PTA Meeting in the Media Center. The Officers and Executive Board Members for the 2011 - 2012 school year will be elected at the May 24th PTA Meeting. Please plan on attending as this important vote takes place. Brian Balmages is an active composer, conductor, producer and performer. His fresh compositional ideas have resulted in a high demand for his wind, brass and orchestral music throughout the world.
BackPack Buddies We are still collecting food for our BackPack Buddies program. BackPacks are filed with nutrious food stuffs and sent home with Hunter students each weekend to ensure that they have healthy meals at home.
