Check out all the changes on the website!!!!

First of all, let me explain a few things.  In an effort to become a “green” school and use the resources of the internet better, we have decided to change a few things on the website.  Many thanks go out to Mr. and Ms. Sharma for creating our wonderful website.  However, it is hard for them to control it and make changes as quickly as we need.  Therefore, with the help of a few fellow staff members, I am going to take over as the webmaster.

I have already made lots of changes.  First and foremost, we are adding links in hopes that each teacher will have their own webpage.  About 50% of the teachers already have one going, and we hope to have the rest going here shortly.  The goal is to eliminate as much paper communication as possible.  We spend thousands of dollars every year on copies, and with over 700 students, the copies add up fast.  We hope that you can receive all school wide communication via the homepage, and all classroom information via the teacher’s pages.  Also, the Google calendar can be linked to your handheld or computer so you are always aware of upcoming activities.

I have added a forms and documents tab to retrieve any PTA or school documents you may need.  I have also added an area under the PTA tab so you can easily link your grocery cards so Hunter can make some money off your everyday purchases!  One major addition is the elective registration guide.  No longer will we print the book of electives.  It is easily downloaded from the main page with an updated selection of current electives.
