Thank you to an outstanding PTA leadership team and the tireless and enthusiastic group of volunteers (parents, teachers and staff) who have pitched in and made this an outstanding year for our students. You are all super STARS!

It has been a great honor to serve as PTA president this year. This job has been one of those opportunities where the rewards far exceed the effort involved. It has been a pleasure to get to know so many families and a joy to see on a regular basis the amazing things that happen at Hunter each day. I am incredibly thankful that my family has had the privilege of being a part of such an outstanding school community. Each of you helps make it the place to be! TEACHER Trivia Contest
In lieu of "Casino Night" that was snowed out this year, we a holding a trivia contest for all the Hunter teacher and staff.

Hospitality is hoping to collect gift cards as prizes. The tournament will be played in teams, so gift cards would be easy to distribute to those in the group.
If you can send in a gift card(s), please write the amount on it and place it in an envelope for "Kerry Ann Martinez - Trivia".
You may pass them through either of her sons, Jack (Mrs. Bewley's class) or Tommy (Ms. Culbreth's class).

We are also in need of appetizers and desserts for the tourney.
(Something more than just chips and salsa would be appreciated).
We are using Jooners to organize the food for the "Trivia Tourney".

LAURIE CRESSMAN's PARTY
You are invited to a cake, coffee and lemonade party on Monday, June 7th from 8:45 am to 9:30 am in the Hunter Courtyard. We will be celebrating Laurie Cressman's 32 years of distinguished service as a teacher and eight years as our Media Specialist. Mrs. Cressman will be retiring. We would like to honor her dedication to our children and to teaching. Her future plans include spending time with her family and grandson and time at the beach. We will have the morning celebration in the Hunter Courtyard, weather permitting; if it rains, the party will be located in the Media Center. We hope you can stop by and wish Mrs. Cressman the best!

LUNCH Money
Please make sure that your child has enough money in his/her lunch account as we approach year-end. If you owe money back to the PTA lunch fund, please pay it back as soon as possible. We hope to offer this service again next year.

Please check the growing collection outside the cafeteria and Gym hallway. Everything must go!

SHOUT OUTS
Thank you to Dennis King (dad to 4th grader Olivia King) who not only captured the memorable DBR moment from his concert, but also humbly donated the 36x30 framed picture.

Recently the National PTA Reflections awarded six Outstanding Interpretation Award of Merit recipients. Hunter's Zoë M. Neijna was the Visual Arts recipient with her "African Love" submission. Zoë receives:
• A silver-plated Reflections medallion
• A certificate and letter signed by the National PTA president
• Recognition in the annual PTA Reflections online gallery.
