HUNTER OLYMPICS 2008
With the Beijing Olympics this summer, we wanted to piggyback on the idea and celebrate our own unique abilities of our classes and our students.
To help fight obesity and keep our students active and moving, we created our own event, the Hunter Olympics.
Our goal is to have a competitive event at the end of the quarter between the classes of each grade level, with every student having the opportunity to compete.
We also want to keep our students active at recess by practicing for this event. A trophy will be awarded to the class in each grade that earns the most points!
What you can do to help:
• E-mail Coach Chad or send a letter stating you want to volunteer to help run the Hunter Olympics.
• Come out to the Hunter Olympics and help support your student and their class!
The dates are:
Nov. 7 – 4th Grade 1:00- 2:15 5th Grade 2:20- 3:35
Nov. 14 – 2nd Grade 12:30- 1:45 1st Grade 2:00- 3:15
Nov. 21 – Kindergarten 12:30- 1:45 3rd Grade 2:00- 3:15
If you have any questions, feel free to ask Coach Chad or Coach Parks.
