Inclement Weather Policy
In case of inclement weather, listen to local television and radio stations for information regarding school closings, delays, or early dismissals.
You can choose to receive timely e-mail concerning urgent WCPSS news and important events such as school closings, delays in opening etc at WCPSS E-mail Notification Service
Please note the following regarding Inclement Weather:
- If Wake County Schools are closed due to inclement weather, Hunter will be closed.
- If Wake County Schools are delayed due to inclement weather, Hunter will delay as well.
Sometimes the schools have a delayed opening, and later the decision to close school will be made.Continue to listen to the news media to ensure there is no change.
Do not call the school for information.
